Staff: They didn’t really pay much attention to us, but when they did, they were nice.

Amenities: They had a variety of exotic animals such as Japanese Koi, alligators, and turtles. These may be scary for young children but are sealed in an underwater land. They did have regular amenities such as a pool and waterslide.

Shops and Food: Since this hotel is scaled in a glass dome, there are many shops such as: frozen yogurt, a small snack and souvenir shop, and many restaurants. One of these was a sports barmy father wanted to watch the NFL Draft at. We went inside and we saw the biggest screens I have ever seen! The wings were delicious and so were the tenders, but the fries were disgusting and had a burnt taste.

Over all we give the Gaylord Palms: 4 STARS

In this beautiful hotel, you are surely going to feel like royalty! With its wonderful amenities, Hidden Mickeys, amazing access to the parks, and extraordinary detail, there is no way you can’t!

Amenities: Feel like hitting some balls after a long day after the parks? A hop, skip, and a jump away, is the amazing tennis courts! Located right next to the courts, you can find some grills, that way, you can have your own BBQ how you like! In the middle of the hotel rooms, this is a shallow pool for the little ones. There also is an “Alice in Wonderland” themed water play area! Right near there is the main pool with a water slide. The amenities are amazing!

Staff: Super friendly! The main check in people were very helpful. There was no need to worry about a messy hotel room when you came back, because the “Mousekeeping” was right on it! (By the way, there is no deficiency in hotel chocolates, not to mention they were really good too! Though the next section is more on the food.

Food: The food at the pool area was really good! I had some chicken fingers and they were scrumptious! Only thing I didn’t like was the honey mustard! Gasprilla’s has delicious lunch and dinner. The burgers were one of the best I’ve ever eaten! Really good for picky eaters. The blueberry muffins are the best muffins I’ve ever eaten! The food was really good and there was something for everyone at this hotel! The common thing though is that everything is expensive. Otherwise, really, really good!

Hotel: Okay, the detail that was put into this hotel was amazing! All the way down to the granite Mickeys’ to the little Mickey heads on the trash trailers. The room was a little small, (though it fit a family of 4 good), but very nice! The beautiful balconies that look out were lovely. The beautiful piano and elegant main hotel was just stunning. Every time I would walk into the hotel, I was awestruck.

Transportation: Great!

Cons: Expensive and a little small.

Pros: Close to parks, good food, transportation, lovely amenities, and clean.

Overall: I had a memorable stay at the Grand Floridian and hope to stay again!

Rating: 4.7 stars

Until next time!
